We all feel a different spectrum of freedom in different things.
For me, freedom in motion is the ultimate level, cause I've been able to laugh, cry, love and hate and feel everything so deeply while expressing myself through movement.
And dancing of any kind is good enough, any style, any place, any time. Whenever you feel like it. But what brought me to a new state of consciousness was discovering aerial art.
Imagine you can feel the freedom you do (for those who emphasize with freedom in dance) only you can do it in thin air. Imagine the adrenalin rush and the momentum and the air as your only companion 18 feet high up...or more...sometimes less...

I won't lie to you that it isn't hard and doesn't require mad skills, but the beauty of it is that anyone that wants to try to enjoy this amazing feeling can. Starting from bottom levels, even the people with no acrobatic abilities can reach levels that they never dreamed of, which was my case. Why? Because it's more fun than any other work out, I guarantee it.

Many people do so, as a source of recreation, but put a person that likes to take things to new depths and make everything a show and theater, such as myself, and you get someone that instantly get's hooked on modern circus lifestyle and dedicates almost everything I do to it.

Modern circus is very different from traditional ones. A lot of folks will think of a big tent fill of caged animals and ladies riding elephants, and lion tamers, ring masters and such, but the truth is, that type of circus is being easily replaced with modern art movement in the past decade or so...

Circus today will tell you great stories of man (and mice) with nonverbal communication, body language, good costume, sets, props, mad superhuman skills, fusion art, team work, and will make you laugh and cry and give you something to think about after the show is over. This is the time when theatre and circus are slowly merging into one it some kind of sweet lovers' embrace.
And I am forever mesmerized by that feeling it emits. You will see modern circus artists in big festivals that are super popular now, such as burning man, Coachella, lightning in a bottle and many, many more. I would personally like to leave my soul on some stage like that some day and you know, perish with the desert wind :wink wink:

With that being said, I keep working on my skills and routines, I plan performances and make new costumes for performers. I'm always open for bookings, and I've got pretty much all you need for a show, because I like to invest into aerial and fire gear more than I like to invest in food, haha, so I hope to meet great new people on my freedom in thin air journey.

Tenshi ,
To me it seems like dancing on the line, very symbolic and captivating. I understand what sort of feelings you're talking about.
